ITINERARY
30th Dec’24: Meet at NJP Railway Station, followed by a scenic drive through Darjeeling’s hills to Dhotrey via Mirik. We’ll take a short break at Simana View Point for breathtaking views.
Upon reaching Dhotrey, refresh and enjoy a hearty meal. Spend the afternoon exploring the charming village of Dhotrey.
31st Dec’24: Start your day early at 4 am with a 2 km sunrise hike to Ramitey View Point. Witness the breathtaking 270° panorama of the Sleeping Buddha and the rising sun together. After soaking in the views, return to our homestay for a hearty breakfast.
Next, embark on a short trek to Tonglu, navigating through the enchanting forest of Rhododendron, Oak, and Pine trees. Enjoy a light lunch at Tonglu before heading back.
As evening falls, our musical event kicks off at 7 pm with live performances by local musicians, a cultural showcase by the people of Dhotrey, and an open mic session. Gather around the bonfire with music, BBQ, and lots of stories as we warmly welcome the new year.
1st Jan’24: Start your year with a mesmerizing sunrise view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from Dhotrey village.
After breakfast, we will depart for NJP, bidding farewell to an unforgettable New Year celebration.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- No cancellation charges upto 31st of October.
- 30% cancellation charge from 1st November upto 30 days before the event date.
- 35% cancellation charge from 30 days to 15 days before the event date.
- 60% cancellation charge from 15 days to 7 days before the event date.
- 100% cancellation charge after that or no show.
- *No cancellation charges in case of any emergency situation like any valid urgent medical emergency/any of the traveller tested positive/any govt lockdown or Restrictions imposed/any examination and you have to submit the valid documents for that reason to avail it. We will provide a voucher for the entire booking value which can be used for next 2 years.
Cancellation Process: Drop an email at info@banzaras.in by mentioning your booking ID. We will initate your cancellation with your mailing date as per policy & Your refund will be completed within 3-7 working days.
