TREK OVERVIEW
You must be wondering what the Black Forest is, right? In earlier days, local people would cross a dense forest to reach Gurdum and Srikhola village from Rimbick. The forest is so dense in some areas that sunlight struggles to reach the ground, casting a dark shadow over the land. From a distance, this section of the forest appears like a black region, hence the name Black Forest. As you hike through this mysterious forest, you’ll be greeted by the warm hospitality of the locals. Their traditional food and a cozy evening bonfire will make you feel right at home after the hike.
So, now it’s time to step out of your comfort zone, spend quality time in nature, explore this lesser-known valley, and embrace the spirit of being a #Banzara.
