TREK OVERVIEW

Phalut is a highly sought-after trekking destination, renowned for its stunning vistas, much like Sandakphu. As the second highest point in West Bengal, it attracts many trekkers each year. The Sabargram-Phalut trek provides spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and its ranges, famously known as the Sleeping Buddha. On clear days, you can also catch a glimpse of the Everest Range. During winter, snowfall at Sabargram and Phalut is a possibility.

At Banzaras, we prefer to explore less-trodden trails, and this trek is no exception. We guide you through these serene paths to find your peace, away from the bustling crowds, amidst nature’s tranquility. On clear days, you may even witness the awe-inspiring views of four out of the five highest peaks in the world: Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu.

Inclusions

• Staying would be provided at homestays and all food during the trek from Day 1 dinner to Day 5 breakfast.

• Any other food for your need.
• Personal rucksack carrying cost by porters during trek. ( on advance booking basis)

HOW TO REACH THE BASECAMP

The nearest railway stations are New Jalpaiguri Junction and Siliguri Junction, while the nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport. From Siliguri (Darjeeling More), just 15-20 minutes away from both the stations and the airport, you can take a share cab at 6:30 am or 10:30 am to reach our Basecamp at Srikhola. We can assist in reserving a seat for you in this cab if you inform us at least 2 days before your departure. Alternatively, we can arrange a personal car for you, with the cost shared among the trekkers upon prior request (cab cost is Rs. 7,000). The drive from Siliguri to the base camp takes approximately 5-6 hours, so please plan accordingly.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:

• Book your slot with 30% advance payment and rest of the payment can be done on or before 30 days of the departure date.
• Any trekker tested positive for Covid-19 before joining the trek, his/her trek fee will be carried forward for 1 year to avail any of our treks.
• Due to any reason if we have to cancel our trek plans, you will be notified and you will get the full refund.
• Cancellation done 30 days before the departure date, get 90% refund of the full trek fee or get full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
• Cancellation done between 30 days to 20 days before the departure date, get 70% refund or get  90% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
• Cancellation done between 10 days to 20 days before the departure date, get 50 % refund or get 60% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
• Cancellation done less than 10 days before the departure date, no refund will be provided or get 40% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
