1. Deoriatal – The Enchanting Lake:

Begin your trek from the quaint village of Sari and make your way through dense forests to reach Deoriatal, a serene lake reflecting the surrounding peaks. Camp by the lakeside, enjoying the tranquility and panoramic views of Chaukhamba peaks.

2. Chopta – The Mini Switzerland:

The trail then leads to Chopta, often referred to as the “Mini Switzerland of India.” The lush meadows and dense forests create a picturesque setting, and Chopta serves as a picturesque base for further exploration.

3. Tungnath – The Highest Shiva Temple:

Ascend to Tungnath, home to the highest Shiva temple in the world. The trek offers stunning views of the Himalayan peaks, and the Tungnath temple is a spiritual highlight with its rich mythology and breathtaking surroundings.

4. Chandrashila Peak – Summit with Panoramic Views:

The Deoriatal Chandrashila trek culminates at Chandrashila Peak, providing a 360-degree panoramic view of the majestic Himalayan range. The breathtaking vista includes Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar Peak, Chaukhamba, and more, making the climb to Chandrashila a rewarding experience.

The Chandrashila Deoriatal trek promises an immersive experience amidst nature’s beauty, spiritual landmarks, and panoramic mountain views, making it a memorable adventure for trekking enthusiasts of all levels.

Day 1: Rishikesh to Sari (190 KM 7 Hrs)

Drive from Rishikesh/Haridwar to Sari. Approximate distance is 190 km & drive time is 6-7 hrs.

Day 2: Sari to Deoriatal 6KM Trek 3 Hrs

Sari to Deoriatal. It’s a 5-6 km trek which will take approximately 2-3 hours. Spend the rest of the day In Deoriatal. Overnight stay at Camps.

Day 3: Deoriataal To Chopta (16 KM Trek, 6-7 Hrs)

Deoriatal to Baniyakund (Chopta) trek via Rohini Bugyal. Almost 15-16 kms. It takes approximately 6 hours. Overnight stay at camps.

Day 4: Chandrashila Summit (6 KM, 3 Hours) and Tunganath Temple

Baniyakund to Chandrashila. We start as early as 2am and summit Chandrashila during sunrise. The distance is almost 6km and it takes about 3 hours.

After that we visit Tunganath Temple and return back to Chopta/Sari. Again its a 6km journey which takes about 2 hours. Overnight stay will be at Sari/Chopta.

Day 5: Return to Rishikesh/Haridwar

Drive back from Chopta to Rishikesh/Haridwar. Drive time is 6-7 hours (200 kms appx)

  • Accommodation: Guest House/ Tent
  • Meals: Local cuisine (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea & Snacks)
  • Trek equipment (Sleeping bag, mattress, Kitchen-tent, Trekking-Tent, Crampons, Gaitor, Utensils)
  • All necessary permits and entry fees.
  • First aid medical kits.
  • Experience Trek Leader/Guide and Support staff, who are very well familiar with local conditions, routes and mythological stories which are related to this whole trek.
Exclusions
  • Any kind of personal expenses.
  • If anyone wants extra sight-seen visit which is not mentioned above, Charges extra.
  • Offloading bag , charges are Rs. 500/- per/ bag/day.
  • Transportation: Pickup and Drop at Rishikesh
  • Due to unfrozen circumstance like natural calamity, strike, Government restriction, Land sliding cost extra.
  • Anything which is not mentioned under the inclusion is excluded.
  • Book your slot with 30% advance payment and rest of the payment can be done on or before 30 days of the departure date.
  • Any trekker tested positive for Covid-19 before joining the trek, his/her trek fee will be carried forward for 1 year to avail any of our treks.
  • Due to any reason if we have to cancel our trek plans, you will be notified and you will get the full refund.
  • Cancellation done 30 days before the departure date, get 90% refund of the full trek fee or get full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
  • Cancellation done between 30 days to 20 days before the departure date, get 70% refund or get  90% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
  • Cancellation done between 10 days to 20 days before the departure date, get 50 % refund or get 60% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
  • Cancellation done less than 10 days before the departure date, no refund will be provided or get 40% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
