Dhotrey Hike Overview
Dhotrey Delight Hiking follows the scenic Dhotrey–Tumling/Jaubari-Fancheytar route, designed for those seeking their first hiking or trekking experience. This trek offers stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and its surrounding ranges, famously known as the Sleeping Buddha, and on clear days, even the Everest Range is visible. In winter, you might be lucky enough to witness snowfall at Dhotrey or Tumling. The trail from Jaubari to Fancheytar is particularly thrilling, as it passes through the buffer zone of Singalila National Park, where sightings of the elusive Red Panda are possible. At Team Banzaras, we always choose lesser-known, tranquil trails, offering an escape from the crowds and a deeper connection with nature.
It’s time to step out of your comfort zone, spend quality time in nature, explore, and become a true #Banzara!
