June- September. The weather is safe and the trail is open during this short period. There is a higher chance of experiencing snow from June – July. August is the best time for the lush green monsoon phase of the trek. September offers clear skies which is perfect for an autumn trek.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Manali – Gateway to the Himalayas
Begin your journey by reaching the picturesque town of Manali, nestled in the heart of
Himachal Pradesh. Whether you’re arriving via a direct bus from Chandigarh or Delhi, or choosing a private taxi, the scenic drive sets the mood for the adventure ahead. Enjoy a warm dinner and rest well in Manali to prepare for the exciting trek.
Day 2: Manali to Chika via Jobra | 2 Km | 2-3 hours
The day starts with a short and beautiful drive from Manali to Jobra, a trailhead surrounded by towering deodars and pine forests. From here, you begin your trek with a gentle 2-hour walk through dense green forests, gurgling streams, and vibrant flora, reaching the tranquil campsite of Chika by evening.
Day 3: Trek to Balu Ka Ghera | 9 Km | 5-6 hours
Today’s trail leads you deeper into the Himalayas with a moderate 9 km trek from Chika to Balu Ka Ghera. The route crosses the Rani Nallah and opens into lush alpine meadows. As the altitude increases, the surroundings become more dramatic, culminating at a stunning campsite nestled amidst boulders and wildflowers.
Day 4: Hampta Pass to Shea Goru | 10 Km | 8-9 hours
This is the most challenging yet rewarding day of the trek. Begin early to cross the
Hampta Pass at an elevation of 14,100 ft, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Pir Panjal range. The steep ascent and descent require stamina and caution, but the thrill of the pass and the surreal landscape of Shea Goru make it unforgettable.
Day 5: Descend to Chatru and Visit Chandratal (Stay Optional) | 7 Km | 4-5 hours
Start early for a trek to Chhatru, offering surreal views of the Lahaul and Spiti valleys. After reaching Chhatru, a jeep ride takes you to the legendary Chandratal Lake, believed to hold mythological significance. Depending on conditions, camp either at Chandratal (optional) or return to Chhatru for the night.
Day 6: Farewell Himachal – Drive Back to Manali
After breakfast, bid farewell to the majestic Himachal as you drive back to Manali.
The 65 km return journey takes you through rugged landscapes and riverside roads,
a fitting closure to your Himalayan adventure. Note: if Chandratal wasn’t accessible
earlier, the direct drive from Chatru ensures you reach Manali by late afternoon.

Exclusions
1. Any kind of personal expenses.
2. Mules or porter to carry personal luggage of team. Charges are extra ₹400/- per bag/day.
3. If anyone extends stay in our Homestay ₹1500/person extra
4. Transportation extra charge which is not mentioned in itinerary.
5. Emergency evacuation, hospitalization charges etc.

Detour Policy
1. Incase of Detour due to act of God/landslides/any other reasons road blockage happens, then extra charges will be applicable for taking too long alternative routes. (Free upto 50 kms detour option in all total trip plan)
2. During trip, driver’s decision will be final depending upon the road condition. (No refund will be processed for any closure of Sightseeing points due to any road closure/landslides/any other reasons)
How to Reach at basecamp?
You can reach Manali taking a direct bus from Chandigarh or Delhi. It is an overnight journey which typically takes 12-14hrs from Delhi. Private cabs are also available. There is no train station at Manali. The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport(near Kullu) which is approximately 50 Km away. You can also find buses and private cabs from here.
Payment Policy
For booking confirmation, 30% of Total Amount to be collected as an advance amount.
After the payment, your booking will be confirmed and Booking ID will be shared with you. Kindly keep that for future reference.
Remaining Payment Amount to be collected 3 days before of the starting date.
Cancellation Policy
- 80% of total amount will be refunded if cancelled on or before 30 days of check-in Date/trip starting date.
- 70% of total amount will be Refunded if cancelled between 30 days and 15 days of check-in/trip start date.
- 50% of total amount will be refunded if cancelled between 15 days to 3 days of Check-in/trip start date.
- No refund if cancelled from 3 days to at the time of Check-in/trip start date.
- You can reschedule your stay within one year of your booking check-in date. This is possible only due to a valid urgent medical emergency. You can also reschedule if any traveler tests Covid positive. Additionally, you can reschedule if any government lockdown or restrictions are imposed. You must submit valid documents for these reasons to avail it.
