Trek Overview
Monal Top Trek, is a hidden beauty among the Himalayan Mountains not known by the trekkers and is a true gem. Monal top is at an altitude of 12,000 ft, The best part of this trek, it offers a 360 degree panoramic clear view of the Garhwal Himalayas Range of Mt. JAONLI, Mt. GANGOTRI, Mt. JOGIN, Mt. BHARTE KHUNTA, Mt. KEDARNATH and KEDAR DOME PEAKS, SUMERU PARBAT, Mt. CHAUKHAMBA, Mt. NEELKANTH, Mt. KAMET, Mt. HATHI-GHORI PARBAT, Mt.DRONAGIRI and Mt. TRISUL, Mt. NANDAGHUGATI, Mt. MIRGTHANI DEVTOLI, Mt. MAIKTOLI etc. This trek is best for beginner who want to start trekking in Himalaya, and a person who want to trek with family . Once you seen the beauty of this trek you will get completely lost with nature with those amazing views along with the beautiful sunrise and sunsets.
Short Itinerary
Day 1- Arrival Wan Village ( 8000 ft, 280 KM, 9-10 hr)
To reach Wan village, the best thing is that you have two option either you choose from Dehradun/Rishikesh side or Kathgodam side. It is equal distance. So you won’t face any problem of transportation. Share cars are available and also we will help you to arrange your pickup. We reach Wan village in late evening. Our team will meet in Wan Village. Dinner and Overnight stay in Wan Village.
Day 2- WAN Village to Deli Gate, (9300 ft., 4 KM, 3-4 Hrs)
After delicious breakfast we will start our trek to our first camping site Deli Gate. Today’s trek route is totally ascend and Deli Gate campsite is situated in the middle of the forest. Packed lunch on the way. Dinner and Overnight stay at Deli Gate.
Day 3: Deli Gate -Huneli forest Camp (10,000 ft, 3 KMs, 2 Hrs.)
Today, after breakfast, we will start our trek to our next campsite Huneli. Huneli is a very large grass land like the green meadows in monsoon and white meadows in winter, which itself very beautiful from here you can see Mt. Nandaghugati very closely and some other Mountain range like Chaukhambha, Neelkanth, Kedarnath, Kedar Dome. Dinner and Overnight stay in Tent.
Day 4:- Huneli – Muniyal top- Kukina Khal, (12,000 ft, 7 KM, 3-4 Hrs)
Being a summit day, today we will start our trek as early as possible so that we reached the Monal Top before the sunrise. Once you reach the Summit point at Monal/Muniyal Top, you can see panoramic view of the Garhwal Himalayas range and all nearby villages in this valley very clearly. Spend some hour at the top then return to our campsite. Dinner and overnight stay at Kukina Khal.
Day 5:- Kukina Khal to WAN Village (5KM, 3-4 Hrs.)
After breakfast we start down the trek to our Guest house/Lodge. It will take 3-4 hrs. In evening you can explore the beautiful village of Wan. Dinner and Night stay at Wan.
Day 6:- Wan Departure
Today is last day in Wan after breakfast get ready for departure to your sweet home with the memories of this beautiful trek. Our services end here. Meet you soon next other Himalayan trek.

- Transportation pick & drop from Dehradun airport/Rishikesh Bus Depot/ Kathgodam Railway Station arrange with extra charges.
- Any other food for your need.
- Personal rucksack carrying cost by porters during trek. ( on advance booking basis)
- Any kind of personal expenses.

How to Reach at basecamp?
Nearest Railway Station is Haridwar or Kathgodam and Nearest airport is Dehrahdun Airport. You can get a share cabs easily from Rishikesh/Kathgodam. We also can arrange personal car to drop you to our base camp whose cost will be divided by the trekkers on earlier request basis.
Payment & Cancellation Policy:
- Book your slot with 30% advance payment and rest of the payment can be done on or before 30 days of the departure date.
- Any trekker tested positive for Covid-19 before joining the trek, his/her trek fee will be carried forward for 1 year to avail any of our treks.
- Due to any reason if we have to cancel our trek plans, you will be notified and you will get the full refund.
- Cancellation done 30 days before the departure date, get 90% refund of the full trek fee or get full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
- Cancellation done between 30 days to 20 days before the departure date, get 70% refund or get 90% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
- Cancellation done between 10 days to 20 days before the departure date, get 50 % refund or get 60% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
- Cancellation done less than 10 days before the departure date, no refund will be provided or get 40% full fee back by book with us for the next trek or batch.
