Trek Overview

The Valley of Flowers trek is one of India’s most popular treks in the Himalayas. In 1980, The Valley of Flowers was declared a national park by Government. In 1982 it was renamed as Nanda Devi National Park and later in 2002, it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This pushed Valley of Flowers on the bucket list of trekkers from around the world.

The biggest reason for you to love and remember the trek is the beautiful valley itself. When you stand at the entrance of the valley and look ahead, it feels like a colourful carpet of breath-taking beauty.

The valley is at least a couple of kilometers wide and more than 10 kilometers long. Almost 85 species of flowers can be found in this valley.
